Talent Acquisition Manager
The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading strategic recruitment efforts across retail stores and corporate offices in Japan. This role plays a key part in developing a comprehensive hiring strategy, aligning workforce planning with business goals, and partnering closely with management to attract and retain top talent. The position requires a balance of hands-on recruitment execution and strategic HR partnership to drive organizational growth and strengthen company culture.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Strategy

Lead full-cycle recruitment for retail, corporate, and leadership positions.

Collaborate with business leaders to assess workforce requirements and set hiring priorities.

Design and execute recruitment strategies that attract qualified candidates aligned with company culture and objectives.

Build and maintain talent pipelines for key and expansion roles.

Manage partnerships with recruitment agencies, job boards, and academic institutions.

Enhance employer branding through digital campaigns, events, and strategic partnerships.
HR Business Partnering

Serve as a trusted advisor to store and operations leaders, providing insights on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational structure.

Support and guide managers on performance management, employee relations, and succession planning.

Ensure HR practices comply with Japanese labor regulations and align with regional HR strategies.

Collaborate with regional HR partners to align local initiatives with broader corporate goals.
Performance & Development

Coordinate regular performance evaluations with business leaders.

Support leadership development and training programs to strengthen management capabilities.

Facilitate career development and succession planning to identify and nurture future leaders.
Employee Engagement & Culture

HR Analytics & Reporting

Requirements

8–10 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on talent acquisition.

Proven track record in large-scale recruitment, rapid expansion, or high-volume hiring (in-house or agency).

Solid understanding of HR systems, talent management processes, and organizational structures.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
