Role Summary
The Club Retail Manager oversees daily retail operations, ensures smooth service delivery, and maintains a high-quality member and guest experience. This role combines retail management, financial oversight, team leadership, and hands-on involvement in front-line service.
The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to lead diverse teams, and a balance of operational efficiency and customer-focused service.
Key Qualifications
• Advanced English level
• Basic Japanese proficiency
• PC skills: Excel, Outlook, Word, Access (experience with POS or inventory systems preferred)
• Strong planning, coordination, and organizational abilities
Main Responsibilities
• Manage staff scheduling, shift planning, and daily operational workflows
• Track daily financial performance and ensure the department meets budget goals
• Monitor, control, and minimize daily expenses
• Maintain accurate statistical, sales, and financial records
• Participate directly in sales and frontline service to support team performance
• Lead recruitment, training, and ongoing development of department staff
Additional Duties
• Oversee daily retail operations, including inventory, merchandising, and member-facing services
• Manage events, seasonal activities, and retail-related marketing campaigns
• Create an FMCG-style retail environment that prioritizes customer experience and engagement
Working Hours
• 5 days per week (including weekends and national holidays)
• Actual working hours: 7.5 hours/day
• Shifted between approximately 06:30–21:00
