About the Role

A global consumer goods company in the professional beauty sector is seeking a Global Marketing Specialist to drive sustainable growth within the Professional Haircare category across Japan, China, and the broader APAC region.

This role plays a key part in strengthening market leadership by developing innovative new product pipelines and executing customer-focused 360° marketing strategies. The position aims to maximize both online and offline engagement with professional stylists and end consumers across Asia.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, regional offices, and external partners in a dynamic, multinational environment undergoing transformation and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead selected professional haircare projects independently from concept to execution.

  • Develop and manage new product development (NPD) plans including insights, targeting, concept creation, production coordination, cost management, and pricing strategy.

  • Define clear product positioning, unique selling propositions, and compelling communication narratives.

  • Plan and execute integrated 360° marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels to enhance the customer journey.

  • Monitor and report on KPIs for global headquarters and regional markets.

  • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders, agencies, and country teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence.

Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, ideally within consumer goods.

  • Proven experience in global or regional roles developing category strategies and executing brand initiatives.

  • Hands-on experience in new product development and integrated 360° marketing (digital and offline).

  • Strong understanding of KPI tracking and performance measurement.

  • Ability to independently manage complex marketing projects.

  • Foundational skills in brand communication, PR, digital marketing, and content production.

  • Experience managing agencies and external partners.

  • Strong project management and presentation skills.

  • Business-level English and Japanese proficiency.

  • High resilience, flexibility, and ability to adapt during business transformation.

  • Experience in the beauty industry is advantageous.

  • Strong aesthetic sense and creative judgment preferred.

  • Experience working across regional or multi-country teams is a plus.

  • International exposure, particularly within Asia, is desirable.
