About the Role
A global consumer goods company in the professional beauty sector is seeking a Global Marketing Specialist to drive sustainable growth within the Professional Haircare category across Japan, China, and the broader APAC region.
This role plays a key part in strengthening market leadership by developing innovative new product pipelines and executing customer-focused 360° marketing strategies. The position aims to maximize both online and offline engagement with professional stylists and end consumers across Asia.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, regional offices, and external partners in a dynamic, multinational environment undergoing transformation and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead selected professional haircare projects independently from concept to execution.
Develop and manage new product development (NPD) plans including insights, targeting, concept creation, production coordination, cost management, and pricing strategy.
Define clear product positioning, unique selling propositions, and compelling communication narratives.
Plan and execute integrated 360° marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels to enhance the customer journey.
Monitor and report on KPIs for global headquarters and regional markets.
Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders, agencies, and country teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, ideally within consumer goods.
Proven experience in global or regional roles developing category strategies and executing brand initiatives.
Hands-on experience in new product development and integrated 360° marketing (digital and offline).
Strong understanding of KPI tracking and performance measurement.
Ability to independently manage complex marketing projects.
Foundational skills in brand communication, PR, digital marketing, and content production.
Experience managing agencies and external partners.
Strong project management and presentation skills.
Business-level English and Japanese proficiency.
High resilience, flexibility, and ability to adapt during business transformation.
Experience in the beauty industry is advantageous.
Strong aesthetic sense and creative judgment preferred.
Experience working across regional or multi-country teams is a plus.
International exposure, particularly within Asia, is desirable.
