International Sales – Global Key Account Specialist
Role Overview

A global manufacturer in the mobility and transportation sector is seeking a Global Key Account Specialist to support international sales operations. This role focuses on managing relationships with major global clients, supporting international tenders, and driving overseas business opportunities.

The position will be part of a small international sales team responsible for key account management and direct export activities. The successful candidate will play an important role in expanding relationships with multinational customers while contributing to global sales strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities
Key Account Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with major international clients, including multinational corporations, leasing providers, and logistics companies.

  • Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure strong partnerships and customer satisfaction.

  • Identify potential customer needs and propose suitable mobility solutions.

International Client Engagement
  • Travel internationally to meet key customers and participate in global conferences or industry events.

  • Strengthen relationships through direct engagement and in-person discussions with global partners.

Sales Strategy Execution
  • Align global sales objectives with regional market conditions and customer requirements.

  • Adapt and localize sales strategies while working closely with regional teams to support implementation.

Contract Negotiation and Compliance
  • Participate in negotiations related to large-scale international projects.

  • Ensure compliance with international regulations, tender requirements, and corporate policies while identifying optimal business solutions.

Market Intelligence and Opportunity Development
  • Monitor global market developments such as industry expansion, logistics network changes, and emerging trends.

  • Analyze relevant data and news sources to identify potential demand and new business opportunities.

Sales Reporting and Analysis
  • Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and competitor analysis.

  • Provide insights to support strategic decision-making and future business planning.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related discipline.

  • Approximately 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, customer service, or a related client-facing role.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in standard business tools such as Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for client meetings and training.

  • Interest in global markets, mobility solutions, and fleet operations.

Preferred
  • Experience in the automotive, transportation, or mobility-related industries.

  • Experience working within cross-functional or international teams.

  • Knowledge of sustainability trends and electrification within fleet or transportation sectors.

Language Requirements
  • Japanese: Business to native-level proficiency with strong cultural communication skills.

  • English: Business-level proficiency with the ability to communicate and negotiate with international stakeholders.
