【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】
Responsible for planning and execution of small to large‐sized application related initiatives, working with local, regional, and global stakeholders to implement consumer‐facing applications such as e‐commerce, mobile apps, Omni‐channel and in‐store applications, back‐end integration, and internal systems such as ERP, integration and applications required to run the business
Manage IT staff, onsite / remote, in‐house and 3rd party outsourced teams and assume to drive both project implementation and daily IT operational support management
Collaborate and work closely with the business teams and extended IT team both globally and regionally (systems analysts, solution architects, developers, security SMEs) to transform business requirements into scalable system solutions
Respond quickly to shifting market dynamics and business demands and when appropriate work with key leadership to mitigate project /operation risks or re‐prioritize projects
Act as the Japan IT Business Partner to serve as single point of escalation for strategic and critical tactical issues raised by the local and global stakeholders
Liaise between Japan, rest of Asia and global headquarters to exchange best practices, learn of global trends and propose to different functions new services, features that could be beneficial to achieving Japan’s business goals and bring to global presence Japan’s success stories
【REQUIREMENTS】
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong Project management with 5‐8+ years hands‐on experience implementing projects for both internal and consumer facing systems
Advanced technical competencies in e‐commerce, preferably Sales Force Commerce platform, CRM/digital technologies. Proficient in emerging technology innovation and trends
Solid understanding of ERP applications, 3rd party integrations and overall system architecture topology.
In depth experience on B2C and B2B Commerce, Omni‐channel, and retail stores systems and in ERP systems
5+ years of experience in management administration such as staff management, budget control and vendor management
Solid interpersonal, networking and negotiating skills in a global environment
Strong communication skills in English and Japanese, both verbal and written is a must
Self‐driven, independent, and highly motivated to show that IT is a key engine for attaining business objectives
Exceptional consulting and quality control skills
Ability to demonstrate leadership, even while handling crisis situations
Knowledge of infrastructure, IT security, and daily IT Helpdesk Operations is a plus
Required Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
7+ years of experience in IT project execution and staff management position
7+ years of experience in technology development and deployment projects
Sound experience of various system implementation methodologies
Agile/PMI/Cloud certifications will be a plus
