Sales Director, Tokyo Japan
This role leads a specialized commercial team to drive the effective and compliant adoption of pharmaceutical products in key healthcare settings. The position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration across cross-functional partners to achieve high-impact results.
Responsibilities
- Share accurate medical and product information with healthcare professionals.
- Work with internal teams to create and execute commercial strategies.
- Recruit, train, and coach Medical Representatives to improve team performance.
- Plan and manage ongoing MR training programs with cross-functional partners.
- Ensure scientific meetings and speaker events are planned and executed compliantly.
- Follow all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Experience / Knowledge
- Successful experience as a first-line sales manager or higher, with strong performance results.
- Background in rare diseases, oncology, or specialty pharmaceutical sales.
- Experience obtaining product listings at major hospitals.
- Multiple product launch experiences as a sales leader.
- Ability to read English documents and handle basic email communication.
