Overview
A global consumer goods company is seeking an experienced marketing professional to lead category strategy and brand development initiatives. This role is responsible for shaping long-term brand growth, developing marketing strategies, and ensuring strong brand execution across regional markets.
Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the position supports product launches, brand campaigns, and innovation initiatives while ensuring alignment with global brand direction and local market requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and implementation of global brand and category strategies to support long-term business growth.
Adapt global brand strategies and guidelines for local markets while maintaining brand consistency.
Identify key consumer insights, market trends, and competitive activity to inform marketing strategies.
Lead marketing mix development including packaging, pricing, communications, and product positioning.
Manage brand initiatives such as product launches, campaigns, sustainability initiatives, and innovation projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including consumer experience, deployment, insights, R&D, and legal teams.
Work with external agencies (creative, media, innovation, and design) to develop marketing materials and campaigns aligned with brand objectives.
Monitor brand performance and ensure consistent execution of brand strategies across markets.
Conduct post-implementation analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
Manage budgets and ensure marketing initiatives are delivered within financial targets.
Build strong relationships with regional marketing teams to share insights, best practices, and market feedback.
Required Experience & Skills
Experience
Approximately 6+ years of experience in brand marketing or category management, preferably within global consumer-focused industries.
Experience in international or cross-regional marketing environments.
Background working with integrated marketing campaigns and brand development.
