Role Overview

Lead the sales and service operations for flow control solutions in Japan.

Responsible for overall P&L, strategic planning, sales, marketing, and key account management.

Manage daily sales activities, identify customer needs, and oversee deal closure.

Lead by example to drive business growth and develop the local organization.
-
Report to the Regional Director, North Asia.
Key Responsibilities
Business Strategy & Growth
-
Develop and implement strategies for profitable and sustainable growth in the valves and flow control business.

Drive order intake, revenue growth, and market share expansion in Japan.

Oversee Japan P&L, including financial targets for orders, sales, project management, and cost management.
Team Leadership & Development
-
Lead, manage, and develop the Japanese team and channel partner network.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.

Act as a role model, demonstrating leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Customer & Market Management
-
Identify potential customers, assess their equipment, supply, and service needs, and manage leads to closure.

Maintain a strong network within the industry to enhance business opportunities.

Ensure high levels of HSE awareness and adherence to safety practices in all activities.
Operations & Compliance

Communicate and execute strategies effectively with the local organization, customers, and stakeholders.

Ensure all operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements in Japan.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, electronics, control, or instrumentation preferred).

Minimum 10 years of sales experience in equipment, valves, or automation industries.

Strong knowledge of valve customers and experience with Oil & Gas, Refining & Petrochemical, Pulp & Paper, or EPC contractors preferred.
