Job Title: Senior Manager, Sales & Service – Flow Control

Role Overview

  • Lead the sales and service operations for flow control solutions in Japan.

  • Responsible for overall P&L, strategic planning, sales, marketing, and key account management.

  • Manage daily sales activities, identify customer needs, and oversee deal closure.

  • Lead by example to drive business growth and develop the local organization.

  • Report to the Regional Director, North Asia.

Key Responsibilities

Business Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and implement strategies for profitable and sustainable growth in the valves and flow control business.

  • Drive order intake, revenue growth, and market share expansion in Japan.

  • Oversee Japan P&L, including financial targets for orders, sales, project management, and cost management.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, manage, and develop the Japanese team and channel partner network.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.

  • Act as a role model, demonstrating leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Customer & Market Management

  • Identify potential customers, assess their equipment, supply, and service needs, and manage leads to closure.

  • Maintain a strong network within the industry to enhance business opportunities.

  • Ensure high levels of HSE awareness and adherence to safety practices in all activities.

Operations & Compliance

  • Communicate and execute strategies effectively with the local organization, customers, and stakeholders.

  • Ensure all operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements in Japan.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, electronics, control, or instrumentation preferred).

  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in equipment, valves, or automation industries.

  • Strong knowledge of valve customers and experience with Oil & Gas, Refining & Petrochemical, Pulp & Paper, or EPC contractors preferred.
