Role Overview
This role is responsible for managing inventory planning and facilitating the conversion of plans across assigned brands and sales channels. The position involves aligning with stakeholders to determine seasonal and monthly inventory needs, balancing supply and demand, and supporting inventory optimization efforts. Key focus areas include addressing excess stock, supply constraints, and cross-channel inventory utilization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory and Purchase Planning (30%)
Align with brand and channel teams on assumptions and inventory strategies by style and color.
Define safety stock levels and analyze scenarios to meet purchasing targets.
Utilize inventory across OMNI channels to address constraints such as minimum order quantities or unassigned risks/opportunities.
Maintain planning system parameters and manage inventory/order functions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to validate inventory needs and manage purchase orders.
Monitor total stock intake to support financial goals and inventory turnover.
2. Demand-Supply Balancing & Constraint Management (25%)
Review ongoing inventory, purchase, and sales data to identify imbalances.
Propose solutions for inventory shortages or surpluses.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address excess or over-consumed inventory.
Provide visibility into inventory risks and financial impacts.
Participate in S&OP and supply review meetings to resolve critical issues.
Work with global teams to fulfill unmet demand.
3. Inventory Performance Monitoring (20%)
Track service levels, aging, and inventory turnover.
Support commercial teams by monitoring product availability from launch to end-of-life.
Develop and maintain dashboards to report on inventory efficiency.
4. Product Movement & Execution Support (15%)
Monitor purchase order confirmations and delivery timelines to ensure order fulfillment.
Ensure accurate system updates for purchase orders and shipping notices.
Create alerts and reports for fulfillment risks.
Communicate with customer service and sales channels to address supply gaps and propose solutions.
5. Inventory Visibility & Cross-Functional Support (10%)
Act as a central point of contact for inventory flow, from inbound to outbound.
Maintain both current inventory snapshots and future projections.
Collaborate with demand planning and other teams to support integrated planning and financial objectives
Skills and Competencies
Proficient in both written and spoken English, as well as the local language
Familiarity with planning and data tools such as o9, business intelligence software, GT Nexus, and Oracle EBS is a plus
Strong analytical thinking, communication, influence, and problem-solving abilities; project management experience is highly desirable

Able to adapt effectively to change and work in dynamic environments
