Position Overview
The role involves leading architectural and equipment design for automated warehouse projects using AutoCAD. Responsibilities cover both new warehouse developments and renovation of existing facilities.
You will oversee the full design lifecycle, including conducting site surveys, creating layouts, preparing drawings for quotations, coordinating with vendors, and in some cases evaluating construction cost estimates. In addition to technical design work, you will contribute to project success by proposing improvements and providing administrative support within the team.
Key Responsibilities
Design automated warehouse layouts and related auxiliary equipment using AutoCAD
Conduct on-site surveys and develop current-condition drawings for warehouse renovation projects
Prepare quotation drawings and coordinate estimate requests with vendors
Estimate construction and equipment costs when applicable
Contribute to planning discussions, idea generation, and team coordination
Provide administrative and project support as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum of two years of hands-on experience using AutoCAD (experience in architectural or facility design preferred; warehouse-only experience is not required)
At least two years of experience designing building-related fixtures or equipment
Proficiency in preparing design documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients as well as internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a startup environment
Knowledge or experience in logistics and supply chain operations
Ability to standardize workflows and integrate individual tasks into structured systems
