Role Overview / 職務概要

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a development squad (approx. 8 engineers). This role combines technical leadership with people management, shaping the roadmap, optimizing processes, and ensuring delivery of high-quality, scalable SaaS solutions.

Tech Stack / 技術環境

  • Back-End: Ruby on Rails, Elixir/Phoenix

  • Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Clickhouse

  • Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Argo CD, Prometheus, New Relic

  • Front-End: JavaScript, React, TypeScript

Key Responsibilities / 主な業務内容

  • Lead and mentor engineers; foster innovation and collaboration

  • Ensure delivery of scalable and reliable SaaS products

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders

  • Contribute to the codebase when needed

  • Establish best practices, processes, and coding standards

  • Oversee recruitment, retention, and professional growth of engineers

  • Align technical execution with business objectives

  • Represent the company as a technical spokesperson

Qualifications / 応募資格

  • 10+ years in software engineering, 5+ years in team leadership

  • Strong expertise in development, system architecture, and cloud solutions

  • Proven track record with SaaS product delivery

  • Experience with API integrations and/or payment gateways

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills

  • Strategic problem-solver with agile experience

  • Fluent in English (Japanese is a plus)

  • Willingness to relocate to Japan
