Position Overview

The Facility Manager / Key Account Manager will oversee facility management operations at client sites, including cleaning, technical support, reception, and other services. Acting as the main point of contact for the client, this person will lead a team of service supervisors and collaborate with both the client and the internal team to ensure consistently high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support service supervisors, overseeing scheduling, attendance, leave management, overtime, sickness, and recruitment in collaboration with HR.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, prepare proposals, and present them to the client.

  • Manage health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance in cooperation with the HSE manager, including audits and checks.

  • Oversee budgets and financial performance, presenting results to senior management on a monthly basis.

  • Identify and close performance gaps in financial and operational results.

  • Approve purchase orders and participate in supplier evaluations with the procurement team.

  • Conduct quality inspections and ensure service delivery meets contractual KPIs.

  • Regularly evaluate team performance, fostering open communication and a culture of feedback.

  • Ensure proper use of systems in account management and compliance with internal guidelines.

Key Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing large teams of frontline staff.

  • Fluency in Japanese and strong English communication skills.

  • Technical education or equivalent experience.

  • Background in the automotive industry in production or maintenance management (preferred).

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
