Position Overview
We are seeking a Key Account Manager to drive sales of advanced laboratory solutions within the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors. This consultative sales role leverages value-based selling to provide high-impact solutions that enhance organic synthesis and crystallization process optimization. The role is focused on building and maintaining long-term relationships with major accounts while collaborating closely with technical experts to ensure customer success.
Key Responsibilities

Leverage CRM tools and data to analyze customer organizations, identify opportunities, and execute proactive sales strategies

Develop strong, trust-based business partnerships with clients, emphasizing value over price

Manage inquiries from online sources, conferences, and exhibitions; prepare proposals and close sales

Deliver product demonstrations, technical seminars, and customer trainings

Provide ongoing support for installed systems and organize initiatives to increase utilization

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions

Liaise with global teams and technical centers to address inquiries and exchange information

Domestic and occasional international travel required
Requirements

Background in organic synthesis or related experience

Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Life Sciences (including technical college graduates)

B2B sales or other customer-facing experience (e.g., Application Engineer)

Valid driver’s license

Proficiency in written English
Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of drug development processes

Experience as a chemist or chemical engineer within the pharmaceutical or chemical industries, or at research institutes

Prior experience providing technical or field support for laboratory products

Familiarity with CRM systems
