Position: Global Brand Communication Specialist
Location: Tokyo, Japan
Position Overview
This role is part of the Brand Communication team supporting the professional business segment. The position is responsible for facilitating integration across global and local teams, supporting strategic brand initiatives, managing events, and contributing to the development and execution of communication tools and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Collaboration & Integration
Promote strong collaboration within the Brand Communication team
Coordinate with other internal teams (e.g., Centers of Excellence, regional/local partners)
Ensure alignment between global brand communication and local market strategies
Strategic Planning & Execution
Contribute to the consolidation and refinement of the 5-Year Strategic Plan, particularly in event and brand communication areas
Follow up on strategic initiatives and next steps defined for 2025–2029
Support preparation for key events, including Beauty Creators Connect 2026
Plan and track budgets for 2025 and 2026 across various initiatives (BCC, global brand communication, new brand endorsement, etc.)
Event & Campaign Management
Coordinate country-level event overviews and campaign plans
Support the execution of major brand events
Contribute to the success of artistic collaborations, campaigns, and transition plans
Brand Communication Tools & Assets
Develop and maintain brand guidelines, brand books, and promotional videos
Monitor competitor brand communication tools across the APAC region (e.g., brand health trackers)
Create and deliver brand endorsement materials according to the plan
Contribute to artwork management and alignment with brand standards
Local Market Support
Improve efficiency of local brand activation
Consolidate local market communication and endorsement activities
Qualifications & Skills
5–10 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the FMCG or beauty industries
Bachelor’s degree or higher; international education or work experience preferred
Bilingual: Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese (written and spoken)
Experience in branding or new product development (NPD) is desirable
Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
Experience with organizing large-scale events is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
