  • Build strong relationships with all associates, managers and leadership

  • Provide dedicated HR support to departments as required

  • Support the implementation of HR initiatives and their application

  • Recruiting as per the aligned needs and processes

  • Provide advice to management in the development of the business planning processes and provide input on the HR implications of business objectives

  • Provide support and guidance to managers on performance management process implementation

  • Support annual performance appraisal (portfolio) process including coaching managers and associates in how to get the most out of this process

  • Promote a positive employee relations environment

  • Conduct complex or detailed investigations, and where required, co-ordinate mediation and resolution of complaints

  • Provide HR operational advice on terms and conditions of employment to managers and employees

  • Support annual salary and bonus planning process

  • Establish solid relationships with associates in other countries on international assignments through being their first point of contact and proactively resolving any questions or issues which may arise

  • Interpret and implement company and HR policies and procedures



  • More than 8 years’ work experience and more than 3 years’ experience in HR function

  • Has experience of working as a HR manager at small to mid-sized company (small business venture is also welcome)

  • English capability of both speaking & writing are required.

  • Japanese capability is required as mother language (or equally).
