Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee all aspects of IT infrastructure, systems, and support. This role will involve developing and executing IT strategies, ensuring security and compliance, managing software and hardware, and supporting end users. The IT Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with business needs while leading local projects and collaborating with regional and global teams.
Responsibilities
IT Administration, Security, and End-User Support
Provide technical support for PCs, printers, POS, servers, mobile devices, network, and security equipment.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and network devices according to company standards.
Troubleshoot incidents at office and retail locations, escalating when needed.
Collaborate with vendors and regional/global support teams for issue resolution.
Manage hardware/software installations, upgrades, and procurement.
Oversee IT equipment inventory, licensing, obsolescence risks, and user access rights.
Perform user administration for local systems and coordinate with global teams for hosted applications.
Monitor and manage servers and security devices.
Project Management
Lead local implementation, upgrades, and enhancements of new systems in collaboration with vendors and global teams.
Provide technical expertise and support across various business projects.
IT Governance & Compliance
Manage IT budgets and expenditures.
Identify IT and security risks and implement effective controls.
Support audits, regulatory reviews, and reporting.
Maintain and update IT procedures and documentation in alignment with regional/global standards.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, security protocols, and local regulations.
Report directly to the Finance & IT Division Controller in Japan and functionally to the Regional IT Manager.
