Position Summary

Reporting to the Depot Manager or Pharmacist, this role oversees daily warehouse operations and ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulations. It is considered a compliance-critical position, requiring strict adherence to corporate and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supervise daily warehouse activities, guiding and motivating team members.

  2. Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating depot staff.

  3. Monitor workflows and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

  4. Oversee packaging and inventory management, ensuring local stock availability.

  5. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, internal procedures, and national regulations.

  6. Address customer inquiries and resolve logistics-related issues.

  7. Maintain thorough knowledge of depot procedures to uphold quality standards.

  8. Organize daily tasks for depot personnel, including temporary staff.

  9. Serve as a liaison between management, pharmacists, and logistics staff.

  10. Provide logistics insights and recommendations to management.

  11. Review work to ensure it aligns with established procedures.

  12. Maintain organized physical and digital records for logistics reporting.

  13. Perform additional duties as trained and assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Logistics (preferred) or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 3 years in logistics or operations, with increasing responsibility

  • Experience in receiving, inventory management, order picking/packing, and cold chain transport coordination

  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical handling and SOPs

  • Forklift license (preferred)

  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Reporting Structure

  • Direct report to Depot Manager

  • Dotted-line report to Depot Pharmacist team
