About the Role
The Business Technology Manager is responsible for executing business technology initiatives by managing system requirements, coordinating issue resolution, supporting workflow automation, and maintaining service-related master data. This role partners closely with business teams to ensure technology solutions align with operational needs and enable efficient, end-to-end processes.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across systems, data, and process workflows in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
Collaborate with business teams to identify functional requirements for system enhancements
Prepare clear specifications and documentation to support system development and configuration
Issue & Change Management
Track system issues and coordinate resolution with relevant teams
Manage approved change requests in line with established processes
Maintain communication logs and ensure updates follow governance standards
Process Execution & Operations
Oversee day-to-day BPO workflows, ensuring compliance with SOPs and SLAs
Monitor operational performance and proactively escalate risks or issues
AI & Automation Support
Support the deployment and monitoring of AI-driven automation tools
Identify improvement opportunities using performance and operational data
Master Data Management
Maintain accurate and timely updates to service-related master data
Conduct periodic audits and validations to ensure data integrity
Partner & Stakeholder Coordination
Act as a liaison between local and global stakeholders
Track project milestones, report status updates, and support issue resolution
Digital Experience Enablement
Contribute to the development of high-quality digital experiences through product design, system integration, and continuous improvement
Ensure solutions align with customer needs and overall business objectives
Skills & Experience
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving capabilities
Solid understanding of operational workflows, system requirements, and process automation
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage issue resolution
Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese preferred
Project management experience using both traditional Waterfall and modern Agile methodologies, including large-scale system implementations
