Job Title: Marketing and Communications Manager

Job Summary

The Marketing and Communications Manager plays a key role on the property-level team responsible for executing customer-facing communications. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, this role is responsible for delivering consistent, on-brand messaging across traditional, digital, and social media platforms to enhance the property's visibility and appeal.

Key focus areas include developing direct marketing campaigns, digital engagement strategies, and promotional communications—particularly for food and beverage offerings—to attract both hotel guests and local customers.

This position works closely with regional marketing, eCommerce, and communications teams to ensure alignment with broader business objectives. The ideal candidate will be versatile, combining strategy and execution across digital marketing, advertising, public relations, and content development to support revenue growth and strengthen the brand’s image.

Qualifications

Education & Experience (Required):

  • Associate’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field plus 4 years of relevant experience in marketing, sales, or digital media (experience in hospitality marketing or a digital agency preferred)
    OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or similar field plus 2 years of professional experience in a similar capacity.

Core Responsibilities

Marketing & Advertising

  • Implement the property's annual marketing plan in collaboration with senior leadership, F&B, operations, and regional teams.

  • Partner with F&B and Sales to launch guest-focused campaigns aimed at increasing incremental revenue.

  • Liaise with advertising agencies to execute creative and media plans.

  • Oversee media schedules and advertising for food and beverage, ensuring brand alignment.

  • Coordinate with Revenue Management to optimize offer placements and targeting.

  • Manage email marketing and digital display campaigns.

  • Work closely with regional eCommerce teams to ensure digital initiatives are aligned and optimized.

Social Media & Content

  • Manage local content updates on digital platforms and hotel websites.

  • Launch promotional campaigns across social and digital channels for events, dining, spa, rooms, and meetings.

  • Monitor and respond to guest feedback on social media.

  • Implement proactive online reputation strategies.

Public Relations & Media

  • Develop quarterly public relations plans in collaboration with agency partners.

  • Maintain media contact lists and relationships with local press, bloggers, and influencers.

  • Write and distribute press releases and coordinate press coverage of hotel events.

  • Organize hotel-sponsored media and community events.

  • Oversee content creation for photography and ensure alignment with brand standards.

Direct Marketing & Collateral

  • Oversee production and distribution of printed marketing materials and signage.

  • Maintain inventory of branded collateral and manage display installations.

  • Monitor competitor materials and market activities.

  • Ensure all promotional content adheres to brand guidelines and quality standards.

General Responsibilities

  • Support all communication initiatives across hotel departments with an emphasis on food and beverage.

  • Assist in managing internal newsletters and cross-promotions.

  • Work with eCommerce to maintain web accuracy and freshness.

  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing on long-term planning.

  • Provide guidance and training on marketing best practices to sales and revenue teams.

  • Track marketing and digital performance against KPIs.
