Job Description
There is an opportunity for a Relationship Development Executive with a focus on Buyside, Voice of Client initiatives in Japan. The ideal candidate is passionate about developing relationships and uncovering insights in the finance industry with respect to Markets. As a Relationship Development Executive, you are responsible for nurturing relationships, conducting interviews and obtaining valuable insights to achieve high quality Studies, as well as cultivating relationships with senior buy-side professionals, buy-side industry organizations and relevant publications. Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to be persuasive with buy-side clients are critical to the success of this role; financial markets knowledge is essential.
Responsibilities:
• Arrange and conduct interviews with financial executives at pre-selected Financial Institutions
• Present to top executives, demonstrating high levels of ability, knowledge and integrity.
• Build and nurture relationships through in-person and telephone interviews.
• Collect data through conversations and questionnaires and input into Salesforce platform
• Contribute to research and insights through the data gathering and relationship building process.
• Support field activities including universe improvement via primary or third-party research activities.
• Be a key stakeholder in shaping and driving the overall corporate buy-side marketing strategy in Japan
• Establish and drive the brand at Industry events and with Associations and explore opportunities with relevant media organizations
• Collaborate with global colleagues for key account co-ordination,
• Translate selected materials into Japanese language
Required Experience and Skills
Our ideal candidate is seeking to make a substantial difference to the quality of data in Japan markets. Being a good relationship builder, professional manner and self-starter are essential. Candidates must also have experience in Japan markets. Furthermore, the ideal candidate should possess the following essential (and desired) requirements:
• Experience in the banking or finance sector
