As the Director of Merchandising, you will shape strategy and drive the development, implementation, and operation of our Merchandising division. You’ll lead and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the business meets its objectives and long-term vision, serving as an ambassador in all internal and external interactions.
[RESPONSIBILITIES]
- Develop and execute divisional merchandise strategies to drive sales growth and profitability.
- Identify market trends and translate them into successful strategies to meet customer needs.
- Acquire growth brands and exclusive products while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams locally and internationally to drive business objectives.
- Oversee vendor sourcing, negotiations, and compliance in line with QVC’s ethics policies.
- Drive innovation and strategic opportunities across merchandising, planning, and programming.
- Lead budgeting efforts, ensuring financial targets align with business plans.
- Lead a high-performing merchandising team, setting clear expectations and providing mentorship.
- Ensure efficient team structures that align with strategic objectives.
- Oversee vendor contracts, negotiations, and partnerships with key brands.
- Drive supplier development and innovation through market research and engagement.

- Strong analytical, financial, and negotiation skills.
- Deep market expertise in product assortment planning and brand development.
- Several years of experience in merchandising within a multichannel environment.
- Proven track record in retail, vendor management, and people leadership.
- Degree-level qualification (preferred).
