Position Overview
This role is responsible for developing strong business relationships with bar suppliers and on-premise outlets within an assigned territory, including bars, restaurants, nightclubs, hotels, and other food and beverage establishments.
The primary objective is to drive sales growth and achieve promotional targets within the on-premise channel by executing effective territory and customer strategies.
Key Responsibilities

Develop a thorough understanding of each on-premise outlet’s business model, strategy, and objectives within the assigned territory.

Leverage data and market insights to identify opportunities and potential risks, supporting informed commercial decision-making.

Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with bars, restaurants, and secondary wholesalers serving the on-premise sector.

Prioritize target outlets within the territory and develop, negotiate, and implement customer plans that include trade terms (discounts, rebates), promotional programs, and initiatives to increase visibility and activation in-store.

Acquire new accounts and expand distribution for company brands while strengthening relationships with priority customers through consistent engagement.

Attend industry and account-related events, coordinate tastings and presentations, and support training sessions for outlet managers, owners, and staff.

Manage a diverse portfolio of accounts effectively, including accurate demand forecasting.

Monitor the effectiveness and return on investment of promotional programs and allocate trade budgets appropriately to ensure profitable growth.

Provide regular activity reports (daily, weekly, verbal updates) to management, sharing field insights and customer feedback.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Planning, Trade Marketing, and other departments to maintain transparency and alignment regarding performance, challenges, opportunities, and future plans.
Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or marketing.

Strong commercial judgment and strategic thinking ability.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the premium or super-premium imported spirits industry, including knowledge of trade margins and rebate structures.

On-premise sales or marketing experience within Japan’s food and beverage industry.

Experience working in multinational organizations, particularly U.S. or European companies.

English language proficiency.
