Position: Prestige Account Manager

Role Overview

The Prestige Account Manager is responsible for leading the commercialization of the company’s prestige and ultra-premium portfolio within the luxury segment. This role focuses on driving sales growth, strengthening brand equity, and expanding presence across high-end channels.

Key customer groups include department stores, luxury hotels, independent luxury bars, corporate accounts, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWI). The role requires close collaboration with sales leadership and marketing teams to deliver activities aligned with the overall prestige channel strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of prestige accounts and identify prioritized growth opportunities within the Greater Tokyo area.

  • Design and implement strategic plans to expand distribution, enhance brand visibility, and accelerate sales performance in luxury venues.

  • Establish and strengthen relationships with targeted prestige on- and off-premise accounts to effectively engage high-net-worth consumers.

  • Lead commercial planning, negotiations, and execution with prestige accounts to achieve defined KPIs and meet P&L objectives, while managing client engagement budgets responsibly.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective execution of initiatives.

  • Support and execute bespoke brand events and tailored programs designed to increase desirability and drive sales.

  • Provide portfolio expertise and guidance to the broader sales organization to enhance overall performance within the ultra-premium and prestige segments.

  • Contribute to additional commercial projects and strategic initiatives as required.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of experience in luxury consumer goods sales. Experience within super-premium wines and spirits is highly advantageous.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Demonstrated success in luxury sales and marketing, including expanding existing customer bases and building relationships with influential clients and high-net-worth individuals.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate effectively within a collaborative, matrixed organization.

  • Proven ability to set direction, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects to completion within defined timelines.

  • Professional presence aligned with luxury brand standards, demonstrating discretion and strong personal integrity.

  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally, including some weekends.
