Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and strategic individual to support the planning and execution of retail environment (RE) strategies across clinic, direct-to-consumer (DTC), e-commerce (EC), and brick-and-mortar (B&M) channels. This role also plays a key part in retail category development (RCD) and commercial growth planning in collaboration with cross-functional partners including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Environment (RE) Strategy & Execution
Develop and evaluate strategic plans based on the 7P marketing framework (Product, Price, Promotion, Placement, Point-of-sale, Professional recommendation, and Persuasion).
Translate insights from customer journeys and shopper behavior into actionable RE strategies for clinic and DTC/EC channels.
Partner with internal stakeholders to co-develop brand growth and experience plans.
Ensure smooth execution of strategies by coordinating with customer development teams and providing necessary tools and training.
Monitor KPIs and adjust plans to maximize business performance.
Retail Category Development (RCD)
Create customer segmentation models to prioritize growth opportunities.
Co-develop category visions and strategic plans with brand marketing.
Lead planning and execution of customer-specific programs for clinics and EC/DTC channels.
Deliver shopper-based solutions and develop trade stories that enhance category value.
Provide analysis and reporting support for customer engagement and campaign effectiveness.
Growth Planning Solutions (GPS)
Lead annual and monthly planning related to revenue growth management, promotional investment, and budget allocation.
Collaborate with internal departments to align commercial strategy with customer and category priorities.
Conduct ROI analyses for campaigns and maintain records for future optimization.
Prepare forecasts for new product launches and promotional activities in clinic channels.
General Support
Perform administrative duties related to sales and marketing initiatives.
Support ad hoc requests from supervisors within the scope of the role.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in customer development, trade marketing, or retail planning roles.
Experience working in sales or category development for clinics, retail, or direct-to-consumer businesses is preferred.

Fluent in Japanese with business-level English.
Proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and market data platforms (e.g., Intage).
