Sales Representative – Core Business Division (Electrode Products)

Position Overview
This role is ideal for a sales professional with experience managing both domestic and international accounts. You'll work within the Core Business Sales Department of the Electrode Commercial Division, focusing on key client relationships and strategic sales. The role also offers opportunities to engage in new business development.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and expand relationships with existing domestic and global clients
Conduct negotiations with client procurement teams
Develop and implement mid- to long-term sales strategies
Prepare quotations, control costs, and manage contract terms
Oversee order processing, shipping arrangements, import/export operations, and SAP data input
Participate in domestic and international business trips (approx. 1–2 times/month, lasting 1–2 weeks per trip)

Candidate Profile
Education:
Graduate of a technical college or higher
Experience:
At least 5 years of B2B sales experience
Preferably with a background in the chemical industry or chemical-related products
Language Proficiency:
Japanese: Native level
English: Intermediate (TOEIC 600+ or CEFR B1+)
Must be comfortable with international communication via meetings, email, and phone

Probation Period: 3 months
Work Hours:
Standard: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (lunch break 12:00–1:00 PM)
Flex-time available (Core hours: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM; flexible between 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM)
Average overtime: ~20 hours/month
Hybrid work: Available 2–3 days/week
