About the Role
This position sits within the department responsible for defining and driving overall retail business strategy. Through sales planning, promotional strategy development, and event initiatives, the role contributes to maximizing store performance across a nationwide retail network.
The Sales Strategy Manager/Senior Manager oversees comprehensive store operations support, integrating budget planning, strategic direction, performance analysis, and store-level execution. This role manages sales, costs, staffing, promotions, and marketing in a holistic manner while acting as a key bridge between headquarters and retail locations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Budget Planning

Develop annual sales budgets (total, monthly, by store, including new store openings and renovations)

Create annual expense budgets covering labor, incentives, meetings, awards, sales activities, training, and development

Conduct quarterly budget reviews and revisions for sales and expenses

Allocate and adjust sales targets by channel and on a daily, store-level basis
2. Sales & Business Strategy

Formulate sales strategies aligned with business goals

Define and manage KPIs including traffic, average transaction value, reservations, and category-specific initiatives

Integrate marketing strategy, merchandising strategy, and store-level promotions
3. Communication & Direction Setting

Prepare and distribute weekly strategic updates
-
Create materials for store manager meetings and annual business briefings
-
Clearly communicate policies, priorities, and strategic direction to stores
4. Analysis & Reporting

Produce weekly performance reports
-
Prepare monthly and year-to-date performance analyses
-
Provide insights and feedback to improve store results
5. Store Operations Support

Develop, maintain, and manage operational manuals
-
Oversee staffing plans, workforce balance, and work-life considerations

Coordinate training plans and sales activity schedules

Support store equipment, facilities, and operational infrastructure
Required Skills & Experience
Must Have
-
5+ years of experience in retail business operations, sales planning, or store management
-
3+ years of people management experience
-
Experience in retail brands such as cosmetics, luxury, fashion, or apparel

Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF functions), plus PowerPoint and Word
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines

Business-level English proficiency

本ポジションは、リテール事業全体の戦略立案を担う部門に所属し、販売戦略やプロモーション企画、イベント施策を通じて、全国の店舗パフォーマンス最大化を推進します。
予算策定、戦略立案、方針伝達、業績分析、店舗支援までを一貫して担い、売上・経費・人員・販促・マーケティングを統合的に管理する重要な役割です。本部と店舗をつなぐ中核ポジションとして、リテールビジネスの成長を支えます。
主な業務内容
1. 予算策定

年間売上計画の策定(全社・月別・店舗別、新店・改装計画含む)

人件費、インセンティブ、営業・研修・開発費用などの年間経費予算策定

四半期ごとの売上・経費予算の見直し

チャネル別および店舗別の日割り売上目標の調整
2. 戦略立案

販売戦略の策定

3. 方針伝達

週次方針資料の作成・発信

応募資格
必須要件
-
リテール業界での実務経験5年以上(店舗運営、営業企画など)
-
ピープルマネジメント経験3年以上
-
コスメ、ラグジュアリー、アパレル等のリテールブランドでの営業・商談経験

Excel(VLOOKUP、ピボットテーブル、IF関数)、PowerPoint、Wordの実務スキル
-
複数業務・タイトなスケジュールを管理できる能力

ビジネスレベルの英語力
