The role:

This position focuses on driving growth in the Enterprise market by promoting innovative AI-based English speaking and training solutions. As an individual contributor within a startup environment, you will play a key role in expanding the business in Japan while collaborating with international teams. The mission includes helping Japanese corporations become more globally competitive by strengthening their workforce’s communication skills.

 

What youll do:

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of B2B business opportunities

  • Engage prospective clients through compelling presentations and product demonstrations

  • Understand customer challenges and propose tailored solutions

  • Work closely with product and customer success teams to ensure successful implementation

  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term client relationships

  • Actively explore new market opportunities to support short- and long-term growth

  • Improve business development processes and best practices internally

  • Track and report performance results on a regular basis

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)

  • 5+ years of successful experience in business development or similar sales roles

  • Skilled in delivering persuasive presentations and building networks

  • Strong negotiation and communication abilities

  • High English proficiency, equal to TOEIC 800+

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to recommend effective solutions based on customer needs

  • Experience in high-growth global companies

  • Experience selling to HR stakeholders and large enterprises

  • Ability to engage effectively with senior-level decision makers
