Position: Bilingual SPC Manager (Tokyo)
This role involves overseeing all aspects of SPC accounting, including financial reporting, bookkeeping, transaction oversight, and client communication. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior SPC accountants and supporting their development. Key Responsibilities
Review and verify financial documents such as monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, tax filings, and online banking transactions
Provide guidance and training to junior SPC accountants
Ensure timely completion of tax filings and audit processes
Assist in preparing presentation materials for client proposals
Manage communications with stakeholders, including responding to inquiries and participating in meetings
Perform other related duties as needed
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, SPC management, investment firms, or SPC-related roles in tax offices or BPOs
Strong understanding of Japanese accounting standards and tax regulations
Demonstrated experience in team leadership or management
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
