Telesales Representative – Scientific & Laboratory Equipment

Overview
This position is responsible for driving inside sales activities for a portfolio of laboratory and analytical instrumentation, supporting both end users and distribution partners. The role focuses on promoting a broad range of products and services through phone and digital communication, helping customers understand technical offerings while supporting external sales teams in achieving business growth.

The successful candidate will contribute to sales expansion by executing proactive outreach, building strong customer relationships, and delivering professional product guidance to maximize revenue and market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inside sales activities to promote laboratory instrumentation and consumables to corporate and institutional customers.

  • Provide technical and product information to customers and distributors, including preparing materials, conducting online demonstrations, and supporting seminars or training sessions.

  • Collaborate with field sales teams to execute virtual product presentations and coordinate customer engagements.

  • Manage and update sales activity records in CRM and internal systems on a daily basis.

  • Align with company values and contribute to achieving sales and performance targets.

  • Leverage marketing initiatives and campaigns to identify and develop new business opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Strong understanding of life sciences, chemistry, or analytical measurement technologies.

  • Experience selling scientific or industrial equipment to B2B clients in sectors such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, or energy.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service, inside sales, or sales support roles.

  • Proficiency in preparing business reports and sales documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including PDCA-style activity reporting.

  • Skilled in delivering online presentations and creating proposal materials.

  • Proven experience in telephone-based sales and handling corporate consumable product accounts.

  • Hands-on experience using CRM tools or the ability to quickly learn new systems.
