Role Overview
An international brand organization is seeking a Marketing & Licensing Coordinator to support marketing initiatives and licensing operations in Japan. Working closely with local and global teams, this role contributes to the execution of marketing campaigns, partnerships, digital activities, and licensing programs aimed at strengthening brand awareness and product positioning across both trade and consumer audiences.
This position requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Support

Coordinate marketing projects developed internally or in collaboration with brand, retail, and manufacturing partners, including scheduling, contracting, budget tracking, and partner communications

Provide project administration support, including reporting, contract drafting, purchase orders, and workflow tracking using internal systems

Assist with project and campaign reporting

Proofread marketing content and provide basic translation or copywriting support as needed

Adapt content across digital platforms and local websites

Support management of social media accounts

Coordinate local newsletters

Manage production of printed materials for both consumer-facing and trade-focused marketing activities

Coordinate and attend events, promotions, and brand activations

Manage domestic and international courier and mail requests related to marketing and licensing

Oversee inventory, dispatch, and returns of marketing materials and tools

Register and maintain account information in CRM systems

Organize and manage creative assets

Support additional ad hoc tasks as required
Licensing Support

Assist business development and licensing managers with daily licensing-related activities

Respond to general licensing inquiries

Support portal testing, localization, and user guidance

Distribute licensing-related communications and updates
-
Support invoicing and receipting processes

Assist with market sampling activities
Required Skills & Experience
Education
-
Tertiary education or equivalent professional experience in marketing, communications, or public relations is preferred
Professional Experience
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in a marketing-related role

Experience in fashion, apparel, or consumer lifestyle industries is highly desirable

Proven project management experience

Experience with digital and social marketing activities preferred

Prior experience working with international or foreign-affiliated companies is an advantage

Experience analyzing and reporting on digital or social campaigns is a plus
