Our site in Yonezawa Japan is seeking a Control System Engineer to join our team to help lead Entegris through is digital transformation. This role will design, deliver, maintain, and improve manufacturing solutions such as SPC, MES, OEE, IoT, Data Analytics.
【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】
The Role:Control System engineer
Develops, recommends, and implements controls solutions and programs that improve the reliability and efficiency of production, utility and facility equipment, reduce maintenance and operating cost (total cost of ownership), and reduce the potential of critical equipment failure.
Support software and hardware new installation, upgrades, and improvement. Example: rolling out new application versions or replacing servers.
Ownership of system architecture and collaboration with IT and other plants to streamline and push enterprise automation solutions.
Manufacturing Systems Management: Optimize, and execute policies of the manufacturing systems such as real-time Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and related modules that are deployed to the manufacturing sites.
Ensure solutions meet regulatory requirements and internal standards for usability, data integrity, cybersecurity.

【REQUIREMENTS】
A post-secondary degree, trade school diploma, or apprenticeship program, specializing in Programming and Engineering or equivalent experience.
Working experience with SPC, MES, LIMS, and ERP systems.
3-5 years of engineering management experience handling multiple projects with a strong understanding of project management principles and software tools
At a minimum, an intermediate understanding of industrial ethernet networking in the operational technology (OT) space.
Experience with SQL, in specific MS-SQL. The ability to navigate, create and optimize databases for historical data storage and data mining.
Familiarity with SCADA systems.
Experience with industrial communication networks (Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, Modbus, Serial)
Ability to work effectively with IT, Operations, Engineering, and Quality Teams
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A motivated and self-directed team player with good interpersonal skills. Must have ability to reach out, communicate and influence personnel at all levels within the organization.
English communication skill for technical conversations and emails.
