【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】
Deal Origination and Sales
Collaborate with the R&D team to identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with strategic goals and market priorities.
Build and manage a strong pipeline of high-quality deals across targeted sectors and geographies.
Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to uncover trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
Client Relationship Management
Establish and strengthen relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to drive business growth.
Understand client needs and deliver customized solutions that match their objectives and the organization’s capabilities.
Serve as the main point of contact throughout the deal process, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term engagement.
Deal Structuring and Negotiation
Lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex transactions, ensuring they are commercially sound and strategically beneficial.
Coordinate with internal departments—including legal, finance, operations, and R&D—to ensure smooth deal execution.
Market Intelligence and Strategic Planning
Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory updates, and competitor actions that could influence the business.
Offer strategic insights and recommendations to leadership based on market and industry analysis.
Contribute to the formulation of long-term business strategies and objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work in close alignment with internal teams to ensure that deal origination activities support overall business strategy.
Promote a collaborative culture and encourage cross-selling opportunities across regions and business lines.
Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to support innovation and organizational growth.
Sourcing and Origination Performance
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of global deal origination efforts, including pipeline status, conversion metrics, and revenue impact.
Independently source local product deals in response to specific client requests.
Prepare periodic reports and presentations for senior leadership, showcasing key accomplishments and identifying areas for improvement.
【REQUIREMENTS】
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline; a master’s degree is advantageous.
7 to 10 years of relevant experience in sustainability consulting, business development, deal sourcing, B2B sales, or similar roles—ideally within the sustainability or energy industries.
Well-established network within the sector and a solid grasp of the sustainability industry landscape.
Demonstrated success in sourcing and closing high-value deals, especially in environmental products, is a strong plus.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
Strategic mindset with a knack for spotting business opportunities and crafting innovative solutions.
Strong skills in financial analysis and modeling.
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving, evolving work environment.
Committed to high standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical behavior.
Proficient in reading and writing in English, with basic speaking ability required.
