Position: Global Security Administrator (Identity & Access Management)

Coverage: Supports Europe and Asia business hours

Role Overview

An international organization is seeking a detail-oriented and highly responsible professional to join its Identity and Access Management (IAM) team as a Global Security Administrator. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding access to financial systems, infrastructure platforms, and operating environments, ensuring adherence to internal security standards and external regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will support global access governance processes, including access provisioning, annual recertifications, and compliance-driven user certification campaigns. This role requires close collaboration with IAM analysts, developers, security engineers, and business stakeholders to maintain secure and compliant identity lifecycle management across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Access Administration

  • Manage user access to financial applications, infrastructure systems, and operating environments in accordance with established policies and procedures.

  • Execute provisioning and deprovisioning activities for new hires, terminations, and role transfers.

Service Management

  • Process and resolve service requests and incident tickets accurately and within defined service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Monitor shared inboxes and request queues to ensure timely response and completion of tasks.

User Access Certifications & Compliance

  • Lead or support periodic access certification campaigns for regulated systems (e.g., SOX, SEC, BaFin, and other compliance-driven environments).

  • Assist with audit activities by preparing documentation, researching access history, and gathering required evidence.

  • Ensure adherence to internal security standards and external regulatory requirements.

Identity Governance & Lifecycle Management

  • Support global governance processes for both human and non-human identities.

  • Contribute to the management of identity lifecycle controls across applications and infrastructure.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of access management procedures and controls.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Collaborate with technical teams to diagnose and resolve access-related issues.

  • Assist in root cause analysis and contribute to process improvements where necessary.

Account & Directory Management

  • Administer user accounts within Active Directory and other identity platforms.

  • Support application access provisioning using identity governance tools such as Saviynt, SailPoint, or similar systems.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with IAM business analysts, developers, security engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to support the overall IAM strategy and operational framework.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the IAM and security functions.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in user provisioning or identity and access management operations.

  • Practical experience with account administration and Active Directory management.

  • Familiarity with identity governance and administration (IGA) tools such as Saviynt, SailPoint, or comparable platforms.

  • Understanding of core access administration processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and internal transfers.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to adapt quickly in dynamic technology environments.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese (business level or higher).

Preferred Technical Knowledge

  • Familiarity with security monitoring or investigative technologies.

  • Exposure to case management systems or related compliance tools is an advantage.
