Job Summary

The HR Generalist provides comprehensive support to the HR Business Partner (HRBP) across a wide range of HR functions. Responsibilities include annual HR cycle activities, employee lifecycle management, regular and ad-hoc reporting, supporting business programs, coordinating HR projects, and handling other tasks requiring flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational and Administrative Support
    Deliver end-to-end HR assistance to HRBP in areas such as recruitment, talent development, organizational changes, compensation and benefits, training, and labor relations.

  • Stakeholder Engagement
    Serve as a point of contact for managers on HR operations and system-related issues. Respond promptly and accurately to inquiries from employees and business teams. Participate in business meetings when necessary.

  • Annual HR Cycle Support
    Assist with key HR processes, including eligibility checks, salary reviews, promotions, and talent management activities.

  • Training and Workshops
    Organize or facilitate training sessions and workshops for employees and managers.

  • Data Management and Reporting
    Maintain accurate HR data and prepare reports on workforce movements, attrition, promotions, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Process Coordination and Improvement
    Collaborate with shared services teams to ensure smooth execution of HR processes and inquiries. Continuously improve daily workflows.

  • HR Projects
    Contribute to assigned HR projects and ensure timely delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience

  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work collaboratively

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Japanese and English (spoken and written)

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
