Job Title: Logistic Manager

Job Overview:
The Logistic Manager will oversee and coordinate all logistics operations within Japan, including customer order management, inbound freight, distribution centers, and outbound transportation. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality logistics services.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and recommend appropriate logistics service providers; participate in negotiating rates and contract terms.
Supervise daily operations and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, warehouses, distribution centers, and transport operators serving the Japan market.
Monitor 3PL (third-party logistics) activities to protect the company’s financial interests and optimize service levels.
Establish and maintain disciplined product flow management across the supply chain.
Review and analyze operational activities, costs, and forecasts to track progress toward short- and long-term goals.
Develop, implement, and maintain 3PL performance scorecards to ensure high service standards.
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of shipment tracking, reporting, and exception management tools.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with standards and maintain appropriate audit and control processes.
Document processes, policies, and procedures related to asset tracking and logistics functions.
Plan, lead, and coordinate inventory counts at stores and warehouses.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in logistics management, including coordination with 3PL providers.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with supply chain and inventory management processes.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure compliance with operational standards.
