Position Overview
The role involves designing and developing robots and structural components for automated warehouses, delivering high-value solutions to clients. Responsibilities include:
Designing and developing robotic systems and structural components to meet performance requirements (e.g., strength, load capacity, deformation).
Collaborating with external designers, suppliers, and manufacturers.
Determining molding methods, structural designs, and performing flow analysis for plastic molding.
Advising on mold design.
Creating 3D models, assembly drawings, and part drawings, including tolerance stack-up analysis.
Conducting prototype verification and validation with quality teams.
Developing mass-production products with consideration for reliability, maintainability, and life-cycle costs.
Requirements
Essential:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (non-engineering degrees acceptable with relevant work experience).
3+ years’ product development experience in electromechanical automation devices (automotive, aerospace, or service robotics preferred).
Knowledge of polymer chemistry.
Familiarity with structural design engineering and mechanics of materials.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with engineering teams.
Strong systematic thinking, attention to detail, and results orientation.
High self-motivation with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Business-level English proficiency.
Preferred:
Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD tools, including strength analysis.
Experience in mass-production design and product launch.
Basic knowledge of architectural design.
Experience in resin molding and in designing robotic/mechanical systems using plastics.
Advanced English proficiency and willingness to further develop language skills.
