Lead to merchandizing Puma Golf branded Footwear, apparel and accessories (golf bags, small bags/accessories, headwear, belts, gloves, socks) leveraging both global product line and local production creation resources to ensure ideal product line to maximize sales and revenue in the highly competitive Japanese golf retail channel.
May be asked in the future to drive development and merchandising of low volume premium product collections for boutiques, department store and direct retail channels.
Plan and review the product line of two annual seasons using market research, field studies, key account meetings and discussions with sales team.
Pre new-line product plan to sales/development team and key accounts to confirm commercial viability, and execute seasonal trade shows.
Cooperate with local vendors to provide competitive and appropriate products to the market.
Create reports and presentations in English for Global CPG MD team.
Analyze and summarize external (GFK) and internal market data for all divisions in every month.
Communicate with global product team about various confirmations and questions in daily.
Manage seasonal tradeshow with marketing team and agency under upper levels’ direction.
Manage making seasonal catalogues co-working with other MDs and marketing team.
Good skill of Excel and Power point.
Business level English communication
Strong interest in Golf.
Direct experience in MD of 3 years strongly preferred
Golf category experience preferred but negotiable
