Position: Planner
Overview
The Planner will be responsible for managing demand and supply planning across multiple markets, ensuring efficient operations and alignment with regional business objectives. This role requires strong analytical ability, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive communication with regional and HQ teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Demand Forecasting and Planning
Partner with regional teams to collect and analyze market data, trends, and customer demand insights.
Develop, update, and maintain accurate demand forecasts, adjusting for market fluctuations and customer feedback.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of demand plans and alignment with regional business targets.
2. Supply Planning
Coordinate with headquarters to oversee supply planning activities and ensure supply meets demand forecasts across markets.
Monitor inventory levels to achieve an optimal balance between availability and cost efficiency.
Work closely with HQ and local teams to manage delivery schedules, lead times, and potential supply chain risks.
3. Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
Participate in S&OP meetings, providing insights into demand trends, supply challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Support the preparation of S&OP reports and ensure alignment and accuracy in planning processes across markets.
4. Performance Monitoring
Track key metrics such as inventory turnover, service levels, and delivery performance.
Analyze results and report to management, identifying risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process enhancement.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Maintain close coordination with regional and HQ teams to ensure consistency in supply chain strategies.
Build strong working relationships with stakeholders in sales, marketing, production, and logistics to facilitate effective communication and plan execution.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in demand and supply planning, ideally with exposure to Southeast Asian markets.
Solid understanding of S&OP processes and experience in a cross-functional environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience in forecasting and inventory management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
