SUMMARY

  • Prepare and implement category strategy, product lifecycle management strategy, launch plan and product marketing activity in comfort products.
  • Collaborate with HQ for New Product Development and build category strategy
  • Collaborate with Local sales team including Owned retail to maximize the sales
  • Comfort products: Multi Dynamic Heater, Oil-filled Radiator, Fan heater, Other heater, Air-purifier, Humidifier and Dehumidifier   
  • Build NPD (New Product Development) Plan /Mid Term Plan/Budget Plan in order to achieve company’s 3 year business plan by:
    o Implement strategic product portfolio planning including product positioning; price, target, USP(Unique Selling Proposition)and segmentation of the new products
    o Share and implement product marketing values to Communication team, Sales Planning Group (Sales) and Own retail team in order to create effective and thorough go-to-market plan.
    o Monitor and analyze competitors’ and market’s trend together with relevant consumer insights and behavior to build the category strategy.
    o Monitor sell-in / sell-out results at least 6 months from launch and according to the results, lead the discussion to create necessary action plan with Sales team, other Marketing teams.
    o Prepare paper materials for NPD (New Product Development) meeting and necessary changes for the category products.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Implement 3-year product plan
    •  Create and execute launch/PIPO (Phase In/Phase Out) plan based on the trend of sales and market
    • Propose product concept, target, price, positioning to the company.
    • Propose go-to-market plan together with Communication and Sales Planning Group.
    • Analyze new consumer insights/needs and propose new product development plan to company.
    • Monitor sales results

  1. Create product USP (Unique Selling Proposition)
    • Build up product USP, concepts together with Quality team by testing the product
    • Build up product USP, concepts together with Quality team by testing the product
    • Work with communication team to translate the USP to consumer benefit which can be the core of communication strategy.

  1. Product Launch
  • Plan and manage the product launch schedule with several teams; Quality, Sales Planning Group, Communication and Supply Chain Management team.
  • Prepare and present for NPI (New Product Introduction) meeting, product brief to employees for launch
  • Create paper materials; packaging, flyers etc.
  • Support to create materials; instruction manual, labels, which is led by Quality team
  • Support to create POS (Point of Sales) material led by Sales Planning Group
  • Support to execute communication activities led by Communication team

REQUIREMENTS

  • +3 years of product management or brand management experience
  • +3 years-experience with overseas party
  • High communication skill with English not only with writing / reading but in speaking (TOEIC 850+)
  • High comprehension of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Team work spirit
  • Willing to learn new things Desirable  
  • Experience in electric appliances market
