The Accounting team, to which this position will belong, is expanding in line with our business growth and the acceleration of IPO preparations. This role will play a key part in strengthening our finance function—enhancing both the quality of our financial reporting and the foundation for sound management decision
Job Responsibilities
Accounting & Reporting:
Daily operations (cash management, journal entries, expense report review)
Monthly closing (account reconciliation, balance analysis, monthly reporting)
Support for quarterly and annual closing and external audit coordination
Management Accounting / Business Collaboration:
Budget vs. actual management by product or project
Data organization related to percentage-of-completion and inventory assets
Numerical coordination with business divisions and development of operational rules
Internal Control & Disclosure:
Design and documentation of business processes in preparation for IPO
Build and operate internal controls, support for disclosure document preparation
Process Improvement & DX (Digital Transformation):
Accelerate monthly closing and standardize accounting operations
Review workflows and introduce automation tools
Tax:
Liaise with external tax advisors and assist in tax filings
Responsibilities will be assigned based on the candidate’s experience and skill level.
Requirements
Mandatory:
Japan Bookkeeping Certification Level 2 (Nissho Boki 2nd Grade) or higher
Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience in a business company
Strong adaptability and self-motivation, with a proactive attitude toward process design and standardization
Comfortable reading and writing in English (used in internal tools and documentation)
Preferred:
Experience in a startup or venture environment (back-office operations)
Accounting, management accounting, or audit experience in a listed company or equivalent standard (percentage-of-completion, inventory assets, disclosure, etc.)
Basic English communication skills
