Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary contact for customers regarding import and export shipments, including schedule coordination, operational guidance, and issue resolution
Manage a portfolio of approximately 5–6 clients
Oversee an average monthly volume of 100–120 shipments (roughly half export and half import)
Handle consolidated air cargo operations, including airline negotiations, space bookings, and documentation
Coordinate shipment arrangements with internal teams such as Sales, Customs Clearance, and Domestic Transportation
Maintain accuracy in operational processing and billing procedures
Communicate and coordinate shipment details with overseas offices via email
Deliver value-added services to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in air freight import/export operations (e.g., logistics providers, manufacturers, trading companies)
Experience in air freight forwarding preferred (background in either export or import acceptable)
Language Requirements
Native-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1)
English skills sufficient for professional email communication (approximately TOEIC 500 level)
