Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for customers regarding import and export shipments, including schedule coordination, operational guidance, and issue resolution

  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 5–6 clients

  • Oversee an average monthly volume of 100–120 shipments (roughly half export and half import)

  • Handle consolidated air cargo operations, including airline negotiations, space bookings, and documentation

  • Coordinate shipment arrangements with internal teams such as Sales, Customs Clearance, and Domestic Transportation

  • Maintain accuracy in operational processing and billing procedures

  • Communicate and coordinate shipment details with overseas offices via email

  • Deliver value-added services to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in air freight import/export operations (e.g., logistics providers, manufacturers, trading companies)

  • Experience in air freight forwarding preferred (background in either export or import acceptable)

Language Requirements

  • Native-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1)

  • English skills sufficient for professional email communication (approximately TOEIC 500 level)
