Position: Assistant Store Manager
Reports to: Store Manager
Supervises: Supervisors / Sales Staff
Key Responsibilities
Motivate and guide the team to achieve or exceed sales targets.
Foster a strong customer-focused culture by developing the skills of sales staff.
Lead by example, ensuring every customer enjoys a positive brand experience.
Maintain store standards including visual merchandising, cleanliness, marketing materials, signage, and sales promotions.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to support sustainable business growth.
Ensure compliance across all store operations, including customer service, loss prevention, safety, and HR policies.
Support recruitment and hiring of top talent, while building a sales-driven team.
Oversee visual presentation and merchandise displays to maximize impact and sales.
Ensure timely submission of sales and expense documents to the Finance department in line with company policy.
Monitor goods deliveries, reporting any discrepancies promptly according to company procedures.
Maintain accurate and secure inventory management, ensuring merchandise is properly stored and protected from damage.
Safeguard store merchandise against theft and conduct daily stock counts accurately.
Immediately report any stock losses to direct management.
Conduct monthly stock checks, highlighting discrepancies and reporting results to Finance and headquarters in a timely manner.
