As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing advanced scientific equipment used in research and diagnostics. This role involves traveling to customer sites and providing on-site technical support to ensure optimal instrument performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of laboratory instruments at customer facilities and internal labs.

Generate service reports and explain work details to customers upon job completion.

Monitor inventory and manage parts to ensure timely responses to service needs.

Record service activity in internal systems for team visibility and coordination.

Propose appropriate maintenance plans and related consumables to help clients maintain stable instrument performance.

Continuously build product and technical knowledge to deliver high-quality service and support.
Work Style:

Remote-based role with direct travel to customer sites (commute and return home same day).

Company vehicle and necessary tools will be provided.
Requirements:

At least 3 years of hands-on engineering experience, ideally in field service.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (may include day trips and occasional overnight stays).

Fluent in Japanese (able to handle customer communication, write service reports, and enter data into internal systems).

Physically able to carry out installation and maintenance tasks (e.g., lifting, kneeling, climbing stairs).
Preferred Qualifications:
