Position: Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS Infrastructure)

Role Overview
A global technology services organization is seeking an experienced and customer-focused AWS professional to join its cloud delivery team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining highly scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures on AWS.
The position requires strong expertise in enterprise-scale AWS environments, including multi-account strategies using Control Tower, Landing Zone design aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework, and robust security and compliance practices. The successful candidate will contribute to large-scale cloud migration and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
Experience Requirements

Total professional experience: 12–15 years in IT infrastructure and cloud delivery.

Proven experience in cloud migration and enterprise infrastructure implementation.
Core Technical Expertise
-
Strong hands-on experience with AWS Organizations, Service Control Policies (SCP), and Control Tower for multi-account governance.

Experience designing and managing AWS networking architectures, including Cloud WAN, Transit Gateway, VPC configuration, subnets, and routing strategies.

Experience with container services such as Amazon ECS and EKS.

Familiarity with AWS security services, including GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM, VPC security controls, and compliance frameworks.

Experience migrating workloads from private cloud environments to AWS.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise using Terraform (Terraform Enterprise experience preferred).

Experience with CI/CD or deployment orchestration tools such as Harness is considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities

Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable AWS architectures aligned with business and compliance requirements.

Establish AWS Landing Zones using a multi-account governance strategy.

Implement and maintain secure, compliant cloud environments following AWS best practices.

Architect secure and efficient networking frameworks within AWS environments.

Automate infrastructure provisioning and management through Infrastructure as Code methodologies.

Implement monitoring and logging solutions using services such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.

Lead cloud migration initiatives and hybrid cloud integration strategies.
-
Design and support containerized and serverless solutions using technologies such as Docker, ECS, EKS, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in enterprise cloud environments.

Continuously evaluate emerging AWS capabilities and incorporate best practices into architecture and operations.
