Position Summary
The Warehouse Design Manager will serve as the central leader during the design phase of warehouse automation projects. This role oversees projects from initial requirement gathering through integrated design coordination and final quality assurance.
You will work cross-functionally across architectural, electrical, fire protection, and network design disciplines, managing both internal stakeholders and external partners.
In addition to project execution, this role contributes to developing standardized design processes and scalable frameworks to support long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities

Lead warehouse design and construction planning from concept development through site handover.

Manage project timelines, milestones, and stakeholder coordination throughout the design and build phases.

Gather site requirements and translate them into practical and optimized facility design solutions.

Coordinate multidisciplinary design efforts, including architectural, electrical, fire protection, and network systems.

Review and manage drawings and construction documentation (including 2D AutoCAD).

Conduct site visits, inspections, surveys, and progress evaluations.

Review construction estimates, cost breakdowns, and project schedules to ensure alignment with scope and budget.

Collaborate with general contractors, subcontractors, and external design vendors.

Maintain control over quality, safety, cost, and schedule performance across all project stages.
Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in design and project supervision (industry background flexible).

Experience managing or coordinating design-related projects.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in facility design, including electrical systems, HVAC, or fire protection.
