Position Overview:
This role supports clients primarily in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector by delivering specialized equipment used in the production of advanced biopharmaceuticals, such as antibody-based treatments, vaccines, and cell and gene therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full lifecycle of downstream processing equipment, including estimation, specifications, system design, delivery, operational guidance, training, issue resolution (including quality-related matters), and scheduling.
Develop and propose tailored equipment solutions in alignment with client requirements, including customized system designs and end-to-end project management.
Oversee sales performance metrics, order tracking, and pipeline (funnel) management to ensure business targets are met.
Lead cross-functional project teams and collaborate with global counterparts on a case-by-case basis.
Drive interdepartmental and cross-organizational cooperation to successfully deliver complex technical projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a scientific discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales or application support, ideally within the biotechnology or related sectors.
Background in hardware-focused industries such as biotech, life sciences, semiconductors, medical devices, or plant engineering.
Proficiency in written and reading English to support international communication and coordination.
Travel & Work Environment:
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally on short-term assignments for training or client engagement, approximately 50% of the time.
