Brand Ambassador

Role Overview
The company is seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Brand Ambassador to represent its premium whisky portfolio in the Japanese market. This role focuses on brand education, advocacy, market engagement, and strengthening relationships across the beverage and hospitality industry.
What You Will Do
1. Act as the Brand Expert
Serve as the key authority for the company’s premium whisky brands.
Communicate brand history, production details, and market trends to trade partners, distributors, media, consumers, and internal teams.
2. Develop and Deliver Educational Programs
Create and manage brand education tools and training materials.
Implement high-quality, brand-specific education programs for industry partners and internal teams.
3. Lead Brand Advocacy & Market Activation
Oversee advocacy activities across Japan, including participation in major industry events, trade shows, and cocktail-related programs.
Manage initiatives such as bar collaborations, guest shifts, and bartender engagement.
Build strong relationships within the on-premise community and broader trade network.
4. Build Brand Engagement & Affinity
Use market insights to foster meaningful connections between the brand and consumers.
Deliver masterclasses and training sessions for trade partners, distributors, and internal teams.
Strengthen brand perception through compelling storytelling and category expertise.
5. Contribute to Drink Strategy
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop drink strategies.
Propose new cocktail concepts and creative drink formats aligned with brand positioning.
6. Support Commercial Objectives
Assist sales teams with on-premise and off-premise activations.
Participate in key account meetings and commercial discussions when needed.
7. Provide Market Insights
Gather data on consumer trends, competitor activities, and category movements.
Offer recommendations to enhance trade and marketing strategies.
8. Develop Digital & Social Content
Create monthly content for social platforms aligned with brand priorities and current activities.
Ensure digital presence supports brand engagement goals.
9. Produce Brand Assets & Tools
Prepare presentation materials, cocktail recipes, and point-of-sale items.
Support marketing teams with creative deliverables.
10. Maintain Operational Excellence
Handle administrative tasks such as sample coordination, reporting, and logistical support.
What Makes You a Strong Candidate
Experience in marketing, brand advocacy, or the beverage/alcohol industry.
Strong verbal communication skills in English and Japanese.
Ability to engage diverse audiences and collaborate effectively.
Passion for premium spirits, cocktail culture, and consumer experiences.
Capable of organizing events and managing multiple projects.
