Position: Investment Advisor – Manufacturing & Renewable Energy

Role Overview
This position supports sustainable cross-border investment by focusing on manufacturing-driven industries and the renewable energy value chain. The role works closely with Japanese companies exploring long-term industrial and energy-related investments in Northern Europe, particularly within advanced manufacturing and clean energy ecosystems.
The advisor acts as a bridge between industrial strategy, technical understanding, and investment execution, enabling companies to assess, plan, and realize complex international projects with confidence.

Key Responsibilities
Industrial and Energy Investment Development

Identify, originate, and develop new investment opportunities and expansion projects from Japanese companies in manufacturing, renewable energy, energy technology, batteries, electrification, and industrial decarbonization

Support both greenfield investments and expansion of existing operations
Strategic Client Engagement

Build relationships with senior leaders at Japanese manufacturers, energy companies, and industrial groups

Understand technical, operational, and regulatory requirements and translate them into attractive investment cases
End-to-End Investment Support

Lead the full investment process, from initial discussions and feasibility analysis through site visits, due diligence coordination, and establishment support

Manage complex, capital-intensive projects involving multiple stakeholders
Cross-Border Collaboration

Collaborate closely with international teams, regional authorities, energy clusters, industrial parks, and innovation ecosystems supporting manufacturing and renewable energy investments
Sector Positioning and Market Development

Contribute to positioning the target country as a preferred destination for advanced manufacturing and renewable energy investment

Support industry dialogues, targeted outreach, events, and sector-focused campaigns

Experience and Qualifications

More than 10 years of relevant professional experience in Japan, preferably within:
