About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Business Human Resources Associate to join a dynamic HR team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking organization committed to enhancing the well-being of people and animals. You will be instrumental in shaping a positive work culture and supporting business growth through various human resources initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering & HR Strategy

  • Collaborate with HR business partners and cross-functional teams to develop and implement HR strategies that drive performance and address business needs.

  • Provide insights based on market trends and organizational analysis to support decision-making.

  • Execute and support HR programs including capability building, talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, and cultural initiatives.

  • Contribute to areas such as rewards & recognition, internal branding, and learning strategies.

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment processes: sourcing, coordinating interviews, facilitating feedback, and liaising with hiring managers, candidates, and external agencies.

  • Coordinate pre-boarding and onboarding activities for new employees.

  • Oversee recruitment and contract processes for temporary staff.

Employee Engagement & Organizational Culture

  • Plan and implement employee recognition programs and local events aligned with business objectives and budget.

  • Support leadership in fostering a positive and engaging work environment.

  • Lead internal communication initiatives (e.g., newsletters, town halls, employee events, internal platforms).

  • Drive cultural initiatives to embed growth mindset and leadership principles across the organization.

  • Strengthen employer branding by planning and executing external communications (e.g., LinkedIn, award submissions, published articles).

  • Design and implement employee engagement activities to cultivate a sense of belonging.

Learning & Development

  • Coordinate training logistics and ensure smooth delivery of learning programs.

  • Liaise with learning specialists to resolve logistical issues and suggest improvements.

  • Manage post-training tasks such as completion tracking and feedback.

HR Operations & Data Management

  • Administer end-to-end HR processes from onboarding to offboarding.

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of HR data and operations according to both local and global standards.

  • Handle additional HR-related duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive HR experience, including implementing key HR initiatives.

  • Specialized experience in at least one HR functional area (e.g., compensation, employee relations, talent development, DEI, analytics, org design).

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.

  • High level of discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.

  • Fluency in Japanese (native level) and business proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.

  • Experience working in the consumer products industry for 2+ years.
