Role Overview
This position supports demand planning and supply coordination for the Japan business. The role focuses on forecast consolidation, supply planning, inventory control, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure stable supply, minimize risk, and support sales growth and innovation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Collect and analyze monthly sales forecasts from individual sales representatives and direct-to-consumer channels using spreadsheet-based tools

Consolidate forecasts and upload data into the integrated business planning system, ensuring accuracy and timely completion

Develop detailed supply plans to meet demand while maintaining appropriate inventory levels

Identify potential risks within demand and supply plans, analyze gaps, and create mitigation or contingency strategies

Support sales growth initiatives by continuously reviewing, adjusting, and optimizing demand plans

Generate supply projections based on forecasts, customer orders, and inventory status, and manage the timely release of purchase orders to suppliers

Develop contingency plans to address unexpected disruptions or supply delays

Collaborate closely with warehouse operations, supply chain teams, commercial functions, and finance to ensure alignment across the organization

Prepare and maintain regular business performance and operational reports

Design and monitor key performance indicators related to forecast accuracy, inventory health, and supply efficiency

Analyze excess and obsolete inventory and propose action plans to reduce associated risk
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher
-
3–4 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management

Experience working in an international or multinational organization is preferred

Strong understanding of forecasting, demand analysis, and strategic purchasing

Proven analytical skills related to demand and supply planning

Business-level English communication skills for meetings, negotiations, and written correspondence

Advanced proficiency in Excel, with working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint

Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP
Compensation
The annual base salary range for this position is approximately JPY 5 million to JPY 7 million, depending on relevant experience and skill level.
